Registration for Summer 2026 Opening October 27th!
Camp Parent Information
YMCA Camp Kresge’s day camp is a great opportunity for children ages 5-16 to get outdoors, learn valuable skills, and make new friends.
-Day Camp sessions are offered weekly, Monday through Friday, from June 8th through August 14th. The camp day is from 9am-4:30pm.
-Specialty Day Camp programs available for Summer 2026: Coming soon! See below for more information.
-Deposit: Day Camp sessions are booked on a weekly format, with member rates starting at $270 per week and nonmember rates at $280 per week. A $50 deposit is due at registration to save your spot.
-Activities include archery, arts & crafts, boating, climbing tower, high & low ropes courses, nature & STEM classes, team building, swimming/aqua park, and specialties like archery tag, mountain biking, digglers, photography, sailing, riflery, and more!
-Daily transportation on a camp bus is available from pre-determined bus stops, including locations in Wilkes-Barre, Kingston, Pittston, Drums, Mountain Top, and White Haven. Pick up times vary by location.

Specialty Day Camp Programs
For campers ages 9-16, YMCA Camp Kresge offers several specialty camp programs. These specialty camps have the same daily structure as the traditional Day Camp, meaning transportation, camp hours, and lunch are the same. Campers will participate in activities and lessons that allow for skill development and progression. They may also take a field trip off-site, depending on the specialty camp program.
-The camp day is 9:00am-4:30pm, with the specialty camp lasting one week (Monday through Friday).

*The MySky Elite Basketball Camp has a Day or Overnight Camp option. Campers for the day program will participate daily from 9am-4:30pm. Campers for the overnight program will stay at camp through the week, staying over with the traditional Overnight Camp program.

For campers participating in the MySky Elite Basketball Camp and staying overnight at camp for the week
Day Camp Scholarships
Families can request financial assistance for summer programs by completing and returning the 2025 Scholarship Application. Please submit this form along with the camp registration form. As soon as a discount amount is determined, Camp Kresge will reach out directly with the scholarship offer.
Please note: incomplete applications cannot be processed. Submit all necessary documentation in order for your application to be processed in a timely manner.
